Q) Why do I need to push the switch twice continuously in order for the lamp to work?

A) Because UV light can harm skin or eyes if you don't use it properly. This safety device also protects children

Q) How does UV light kill germs?

A) UV light causes DNA to break down, which kills germs. For more details see our homepage.

Q)  How can I know whether germs are killed?

A) Dust mites and bacteria are too small to see with the naked eye. We need a microscope to see bacteria and most households do not have one. This is why we had the products tested in various laboratories to prove it works

Q) What is the function of the dark filter?

A) It is called a UV band pass filter and does the following:
It protects the lamp from outside forces because it contains a small amount of mercury. The filter cuts down unnecessary UV light and and decreases power 35% for safety It cuts down reflection to protect users from UV light.

Q) How long do you charge PureLight? (Only XD-2D04 model)

A) To operate for an hour, you need to charge 3 hours. We recommend using adapter, if you want to use PureLight for long periods.

Q) What is the lifespan of the battery I purchased? (Only XD-2D04 model)

A) The life span of a battery depends on a number of variables, but we could roughly estimate 500 charge/discharge cycles.

Q) What is the lifespan of the UVC bulb?

A) The bulbs in the Purelight XD are tested to 15,500 hours use

Q)  So I need to wear safety goggles when using the Purelight wand?

A) It is recommended that you wear the safety goggles provided with each unit
